The Vereinigte Füllkörper-Fabriken GmbH & Co.KG (VFF) offers its customers technical support on all aspects of random packings and column internals as a free service.

The VFF team offers hydraulic calculations for random packings and demisters, for example specific pressure loss and the flood factor and other important key figures for the operation.

The VFF packing software can be used to calculate the packing bed height for the mass transfer for many substances.

For demisters, the so-called fraction separation efficiency of aerosols can be calculated with the VFF demister software. Of course, this requires that VFF receives some operational data, which of course will be treated confidentially. 
On the basis of such operational data, VFF can help with the selection of materials, which is also relevant for the column internals, i.e. for a support grids, retaining grids and liquid distributors. 
Of course, VFF ensures a suitable design of the column internals, i.e., among other things, with regard to the load-bearing capacity / mechanical strength, number of drip points on the liquid distributor, etc.

As a result, VFF provides profound support beyond basic engineering in the direction of detail engineering.
